Fame

The show begins in the 1980s with students find out they made it to an elite performing arts school. There are three classes; dance class, music class, and acting class. Skip to sophomore year, one student has big aspirations to be a star and when she asks to be excused from the auditions in school, her teacher refuses and says that school is more important. Later in the band room, a boy is practicing when she surprises him. She has brought lyrics for a new “top ten hit” and wants to try them out with him. They keep writing music and form a very strong bond. During junior year, we find that the girl is clearing out her locker. The acting teacher encourages her to stay in school. When the boy enters, it is revealed that the girl has met a shady talent scout and is leaving school. Finally it is graduation day and the boy offers one last song in memory of the girl. (It is implied that she died somehow.)
